What is ceramic coating?

What is ceramic coating?  This a question I get here at Sharper Image Mobile Detailing & Ceramic Coatings on a daily basis, so I have thought what better way to answer this question then to write a blog about it.

Ceramic Coating is a liquid polymer sealant that will prevent fading, scratching, staining & etching meaning everyday scratches and scuffs it can handle. It's an invisible shield that provide protection from dirt and contamination on your exterior of your vehicle.  Once the coating has been applied it will form a very hard bond to the surface of the vehicle that gives it not only an unmatched protection but also the gloss is insane and will most definitely have heads turning.  ceramic coating has the ability to keep the new look and clean much better with its hydrophobic properties. It can withstand abuse from the weather changes we most defiantly get here in Arkansas.  The surface will become smooth to the touch and have noticeable clarity. One of my favorites is that it lasts a very long time! We install Ceramic Coatings that will last up to 7 years of protection.

Car owners, when we purchase our vehicles there is an attachment to it and what catches our eyes is the shiny, new look, so why would we not want to keep that look because as we know over a very short period of time it will start to fade and we will lose that attachment. I have the solution and that is investing in a Ceramic Coating
